Hello friends, it has been about a year since my last newsletter, but I've been up to a few different things in the meantime. I may have added some of you from the Noise Discord bandcamp mailing list because I was trying to import its mailing list into harshnoise.online / Noise Music discord server's new website and think I must have gotten everything turned around on these newfangled spreadsheet apps.

Digital only. Dolby Atmos on Amazon, Tidal, and Apple Music. Behind the scenes article can be found here: https://zine.shamesoiree.com/no-more-cassandras-behind-the-music

Error Mirror is an immersive power electronics and death industrial single. It's available in Dolby Atmos on Tidal and Amazon Music. It's available in 7.1 PCM as a Blu-ray Audio release on Bandcamp. There's a CD too, but it's nearly out of print. The release also has its own behind the scenes article on my zine as well: https://zine.shamesoiree.com/noise-to-signal-error-mirror
I have a show on April 10th at Meatspace, which is an event jointly produced by https://harshnoise.online and Seattle Noise. Sunk Cost is playing too! That's Breakdancing Ronald Reagan for those who don't know.
Heck, you can probably just watch the livestream directly from this newsletter:
I released the DDL license, which is a proprietary-ish license I will be using to delineate how we will be licensing datasets vs models.
I also released a collection of my music videos onto Blu-ray and DVD:
While I appreciate that some people like to have something to hold in their hand, I don't plan on releasing CD and DVDs very often. I will primarily be making individual Blu-ray Audio discs so that listeners can have a physical copy of the 7.1 PCM 96kHz 24-bit version of individual releases without any extra fuss. It might be a channel fold down, but I figure it would be a more permanent archive that bypasses the need for a subscription service just to access surround sound. It's not like the human ear can really tell much of a difference, but half the point of all this is documenting the specific ways bone conduction and overtones interact.
If it's a big LP like the one I'm hoping to have a big album release party for, I might put it on cassette or CD just to have an artifact. I might also just start releasing music in the form of Unreal Engine sound cues on itchio or something. Not entirely sure how I'm going to play this in under a gigabyte.

Shame Soiree is what I typically call any sort of community leg of my projects. I am not a "content creator" or some kind of pop idol, I don't have a fan club or some super special VIP Patreon.
So I slap this branding on top of anything that lets you subscribe or support me in any meaningful capacity. But it's essentially anything that let0s me throw bonus goodies and exclusives at you on a regular basis.
For Bandcamp: I plan on releasing a number of subscriber-only long-form surround sound albums in a series. Calling it "Rites of Shame" boring lil' ritual noise / drone noise / stoner noise stuff I'm making specifically for qualia experiments. Physicals will be released to the public as Blu-ray Audio only because the entire point is to hear it a certain way. If you are a subscriber at the highest tier, I will make you a custom Rites of Shame Blu-ray Audio that's a one-of-one situation with no digital files. I do eventually plan on replacing my bandcamp URL.
The Shame Soiree zine has region-free support through its creator coin. Users holding said coin may be subject to various one-off datasets being sent to their digital asset wallets.
Apple Music Podcasts lets you get access to whatever podcast extras I decide to upload. Which admittedly aren't very many because podcasting is kind of a phase I go in and out of every few years at this point. I like talking, but I don't like making sense.
Since you're still here, all the way down at the bottom. Here's a sneak peak of the album titles for the Shame Soiree exclusive stuff in the works:

As for what's next. Maybe follow my Huggingface or my Github. I will be publishing more stuff soon.
Network State Neuroviolence should be out in Spring. Empress in Black should be out in September. Once they are released, I will make a BD and DVD compilation between that and Error Mirror so that you can listen to them in various formats all in one sitting as intended.
